The Primitivo grapes are harvested from vineyards planted as trees located near the Ionian Sea. The wine is ruby red with violet hues. The nose is typical, very intense and recalls sensations of red fruit in alcohol, plum jam with spicy notes of licorice and hints of dried fruit. The taste is full-bodied, soft, well structured and balanced, the final return to the very pleasant aromatic notes of black cherry, dried figs, cocoa and coffee. Suitable to accompany any meal, superbly enhances the grilled red meats.
